The setting and time period is when Sasuke was 6 or something, and it was during the time that Itachi turned evil and killed the entire Uchiha household.
All that is, except for one little brother known as Sasuke.
Sasuke went to the park. He saw Naruto there on the playground. "Naruto!" screamed Sasuke, "can I play with you?"
Naruto, being a small child, said, "You didn't say 'please' yet!"
Sasuke, not knowing that when he was older, Naruto would be one of his biggest rivals, replied, "Oops. Please can I play with you?"
Naruto grinned and said, "Okay, let's play tag. Not it!"
The two friends chased each other all throughout the park, and in their childishness, knocked into many people.
After their game of tag, they were both so sleepy that they fell soundlessly asleep in the sandbox. If only I could post chibi Sasuke on, it would look SOOOOOO cute.
When they both woke up, it was evening. "Sasuke," Naruto cried, "Your mommy and daddy are going to be mad at you if you don't go home right now."
"You're right!" exclaimed Sasuke, "Bye Naruto, see you tomorrow!"
With that, Sasuke hurried out and ran back home. But unfortunately, all was not well…
Sasuke ran hurriedly home, thinking of strange excuses for being late. He would put on his cute little innocent face first and say, "Sorry mommy," and his parents would pinch his cheek and say, "what an adorable child!" and forgive him.
When he got home, he bent down, gasping for breath, saying, "Mommy, I'm home!" But unfortunately for him, mommy would never see him again.
Sasuke looked up. He saw the Uchiha mansion in flames. He walked around. He saw his brother Itachi.
"Itachi," began Sasuke, "where's mommy and daddy? What happened to the house? Is it on fire? Is a volcano under it? Did the volcano melt it up?"
"No," began Itachi, "I killed them all, just like I will kill you."
"AHH!" screamed Sasuke, not paying attention at all, "the volcano is going to erupt! We are all going to be melted and burned and volcanoed and lavaed and magmaed…"
"Oh boy," groaned Itachi as Sasuke yelled out more of his made up words, "I am SO out of here."
And without keeping his promise, he ran away and slipped into the darkness with Sasuke still hollering, "Volcanoed!"
To this day, Sasuke cannot remember what exactly happened. All he can remember is one word:
"Volcanoed."
