A/N: Just a short Caton ficlet which is also my first attempt at second-person narrative from Cassidy's point of view. Hope you enjoy.

That night was still playing in your mind. You tried to shut out the memories but they refused to leave. It really is true what they say, you decide, there really are some things you can't unsee and even more you can't undo.

You could still feel his warm, firm body against yours. You could almost feel how he ground against you when he sheathed himself completely within you.

You knew you had to savor the moment, you knew it couldn't last. That's why you touched his face, to prove to yourself it wasn't another dream and later kept your hands at his sides, holding him as close as you could for as long as you could. It was even the real reason why you had your legs wrapped around him. You just couldn't bring yourself to let him go.

You saw it as your one chance to make him yours, but still you felt you had failed. It would only be for that one night and you both knew it.

Deep down you knew you loved him, but not once could you force the words out. After all he had never said them to you and you knew it wouldn't make a difference.

It didn't matter what either of you said or did, it didn't change what was. It had been weeks since then and now you were at the prom with Devin.

You wear your best brave smile, hoping no one sees the shattered remains of your heart as you watch him dance with her. They're laughing, enjoying the night just as you're pretending to.

"We could be falling in love," Kira sings. You step into Devin's arms but you're still unable to take your eyes off of them.

You wonder still if he wasn't just using you, never really caring how deep your feelings still go for him.

How it all came about is such a blur now. Yet you still remember his cologne, how perfectly he fit inside you and your heart still flutters at the memory of how he breathed your name as he shuddered against you.

Looking at him now though you can tell he's not thinking what you are. Probably wondering how fast he can get Randall into bed after prom, you think bitterly.

Still you know this night will go on and in your mind will seem like it'll go on for eternity. You know that you can't get away from this sight until the music stops. You can't let him see how weak you feel, you won't let him see you vulnerable. Especially not when he's been the cause of it this time.

You also refuse to disappoint Devin again. You know you can't tell him what happened. He would just sigh and be hurt that you didn't choose him. The last thing you need is to feel any more guilt and telling anyone else would cause just that. It was all fun and games until you had to see him with Principal Randall, just as happy as you still wish he would have been with you, you decide.

And just as you thought to yourself as you watched your former teacher leave the morning after that blissful night, you sigh to yourself, "What's one more memory I'll never lose?"
