My Side

You know in the first Private book when Reed met Dash, Gage and Josh in the dinning room for the first time… well this was what –in my version- was going on in Josh's head when he first met Reed… (note: I do not own this series)

She's beautiful. I think to myself as I watch the new girl sit with Noelle Lange and the Billings Girls at their usual table. Though I can't help but to think afterwards when I take another look at her is, Why is she with the Billings girls anyway? I'm not insulting the girl in any way what so ever I'm just wondering why a girl like her is sitting with them anyways? She's completely different from them.

The Billings Girls were notorious for their fashion and connections ranging from Ivy League universities to the biggest parties. They were the celebrities in Easton, they were the people to love and hate at Easton.

To me though I really didn't care who they were, they were just girls who all pretty much looked alike. Designer bags, tiny skirts, glossy perfect hair, expensive jewelry, and the same sardonic smile plastered on their acne free faces. In other words they didn't interest me… but she did. She had long straight chestnut hair that framed her heart-shaped face; her features were soft and cute. The girl had eyes of blue that twinkled with their own accord and when she smiled you could glimpse a pair of dimples, on each cheek. Her whole presence sang innocent and good but with the girl surrounded by Billings Girls though it also screamed naïve.

Hey, dude, you coming? Dash McCafferty called as he and Gage Coolidge passed me; heading toward the Billings Girls table where Dash's girlfriend, Noelle, the head Billings Girl herself sat at the very end of their table.

It was then that I realized I was still standing in front of the food line with my tray in my hands looking like an idiot. Uh, yeah. I say as I follow Dash and Gage over to the Billings table…

Afterwards…

I cannot believe she's Reed Brennan. The Reed Brennan. The same Reed Brennan that Thomas Pearson, my roommate and my long time friend, had mention on the first day back to Easton. The one that literally stumbled upon him as he was lying on the grass while the rest of us guys from afar played ball. To be honest I didn't really get a good look at Reed that day I was to busy playing ball to really take an interest. Besides I've watched Thomas flirt with so many girls it can get tiring but now I wish I had really looked at her. Though I don't see much point into it on account of Thomas going after Reed now. Even though it's pretty much a game for him, meet a cute girl, fall for her, flirt, date, then get bored after a few months and act like they don't exist from then on. Different girls but the same story every time it doesn't change but what gets me mad is I don't want Reed to be just another one of those girls for Thomas; though I also have to confess I wouldn't like her being with him period. I mean Thomas is my bud and all but Reed… I don't know I hardly know her I know but I can just feel something when I see her that I've never before experienced. Oh, well.
