Chapter One: Here I Am
"Push, Luna!" Emperor Palpatine commanded. With an agonized groan, the beautiful woman pushed one last time, finally delivering him what he wanted. The nurse droid swaddled the infant and passed it to the Emperor. "It's a boy," it said, as the woman began to give birth to the second child.
Palpatine was too busy holding his son and day dreaming about raising him to be a great and terrible Sith like him to notice when Luna gave that agonized cry again. "It's a girl." The droid said, swaddling the newborn. Palpatine raised his eyes, finally taking in the sight of his daughter. She was the exact opposite of her brother. The boy had blond hair and brown eyes, like his father had in his youth, white the girl had dark blue hair and shining blue eyes, like her mother.
They were as different as night and day, but he sensed right away that they were more than Force-sensitive. They were creatures of dreams and nightmares.
