"River" he sighed in warning, raising his eyebrows cheekily as he took her in. He half wondered where she was in their backwards timeline but that dress was very distracting, he heard someone clear their throat behind him. "Doctor, yes that dress is very nice but sontaran will be here any second so if you could just stare at me later" river winked and grabbed his hand as they took off running. Amy hot on their heels, until they come face to face with a brick wall. Who put there the doctor thought, how stupid of them. He whirled around, looking for another route. He could hear the sontaran following them, river pulled amy behind her and growled at the doctor "oh river, leave your guns behind. There's no need for them, I can handle anything" he looked over her in amusement, did he really sound that childish, he decided to test that later and replied to river "so that means you have a least two on you, where are they?" She raised her eyebrows, hands on hips she looked down at herself "and where do you think I'm hiding them" gesturing at her body, the doctor used this excuse to look at her. Amy sighed "doctor!"
"Hmmm. Oh yes, river?" River looked up and shrugged her eyes wandered to amy suddenly, she barely knew her she thought sadly. She was about to move when the doctor leant in to hug her "one day" he promised and she smiled when suddenly she felt his hand brushing against her thigh, she jumped slightly as she felt the cold metal touch her skin as he doctor removed the gun from its holder. She grinned at him, hoping amy wasn't watching "you know me so well but barely at all" she whispered. He pressed his lips to her cheek and passed her the gun. She twirled round, dress flaring out a little as she did, and shot rapidly at the unsuspecting sontarans as they came round the corner. River smirked at the doctors face and said "I told you I have a thing about bringing men to their knee's, doesn't matter what planet they are from"
