Two Women Who Beat Death

Mandy knew she was strange, but having her first kindred spirit a ghost... That had to say something. She knew she was a magnet for supernatural beings (witness Grim and the other beings that attacked her on a regular basis), but this... Was a little ridiculous. She had been a bit unnerved by the woman at first, thanks to the stupid tales her slave had told her... Once she realized who this woman was, though, Mandy had... She shook her small blonde head irritatedly.

Flipping the channel on her TV, she reflected on what she'd learned yesterday. Old Mrs. Doolin might well have been the first woman to beat Grim. At pretty much everything, Mandy noted with a smirk of pride. Mandy may or may not have been feminist, but Mrs. Doolin was the first adult (hell, first person) to ever earn a grudging measure of Mandy's respect. Especially with that prank on Billy.

But Mandy... Mandy had long ago outdone her.

Mandy, instead of just beating Death, had him wrapped around her little finger.

And she gloried in every minute of it.

Mandy needs more attention in this fandom. Period. I also love this fandom because it's a part of my childhood. Mandy used to scare me, but now she's one of my favorite characters. I wrote this during the episode "Who Killed Who?"

If I continue this, it'll be a bunch of short drabbles, centered around one character or another. Grim and Mandy are my two favorites.

Leave a review if you liked it. Or if you didn't.
