I'm Still With You
A/N: This is a little one shot while I'm still working on my other stories. This is during the legend of Korra with elderly Zuko

Zuko wandered the halls of the Palace aimlessly, he hated this day with a passion because he didn't get to say what he wanted to her. He felt the tightening in his chest and tears burning in his eyes.
Today is the anniversary of Ty Lee's death twenty years ago. He looked at the portrait of them in their youth, she was everything to him and now it feels like he has nothing. Zuko clenched his fists as the memories filled his mind.
Flashback...
Zuko held on to her hand and silently prayed for her to be ok, he didn't want to lose her. He opened his eyes when he heard her groan "Zuko?" She called weakly, he brushed her hair gently out of her face "You should be resting." He said.
"Zuko before I go I want you to know that I love you so much." Her voice was almost in a whisper. She coughed violently then settled into shaking breaths. He shook his head "You still be fine I know it." He kissed her hand. He had to keep telling himself that everyday in order to stay strong.
"So optimistic." She said, the grip she had on his hand slowly loosened. He quickly stood up and shook her "Ty Lee! Ty Lee!"
She had a soft smile on her face, she looked so peaceful. He dropped into his chair and sobbed into his hands. She was gone and she took his heart with her.
End of Flashback...
He sat in the very room she died in, he could still feel her presence. He didn't notice the ghost standing next to him.
"Long time no see." Ty Lee said, he couldn't hear her but that's ok she just wanted to be with him.
"I miss you." He said
"I miss you too." She leaned and kissed his cheek "Just remember Zuko." She began to fade away.
"I still with you."
He looked at where she was standing and smiled a little.
"I know Ty Lee."
