Me : Hey, I'm a freshmen Guard girl and my first season with the band was awesome Guard got Superiors ! And I look forward to next marchin season, heres a poem I decided to post. Just because I found this section on fan fiction. After the poem is like things that I learned for Band.
Am I ready ?
For my first performance….no,
But its now or never.
Here we go onto the field.
Now remember what you were taught.
When to start, where to go with what moves and all ways…
Remember to Smile. J.
1. What happens at band camp stays at band camp!
2. Always have an extra hair tie.
3. Bring some make up.
4. Have your hairbrush.
5. Have money to get food after halftime or steal your friends food your choose.
6. For the last competition try to get a button that say something interesting or a shirt. " I see band people." (:
7. Check and double check for equipment or get killed by the band director.
8. Stay on the Band Director's good side.
9. Learn the words for the 12 days of Christmas, because nobody will remember the right order to it.
10. If you start singing a popular song out loud in the band room, people will join in.
11. When watching Grease with the band for the first time, expect everyone else to break out in song. With the movie.
12. COUNT!!!! If you do not count out loud, you will be put in the front during practice.
13. Do what the Vets say even if their wrong.
14. You will hear "one time at band camp last year….." from the Vets. During Band camp.
15. By the end of the season you know you been in band long enough. If you even run in step.
