Hannah sat by the lake, holding the hand of her boyfriend of six months. They both had decided to return to Hogwarts for their seventh year to complete their education after the Battle of Hogwarts.
The conversation they were having wasn't a pleasant one, though.
Hannah's boyfriend had been in the Forbidden Forest the prior night for a detention. Unfortunately, his handsome face was now scarred and he had been bitten by a werewolf.
Presently, they argued about their relationship. Hannah's boyfriend argued that they should end it. He didn't want to put her in danger.
Hannah, however, was fuming and had other ideas. She refused to turn her back on him when he needed her most. Merlin, she was a Hufflepuff, and that meant she was loyal. She insisted on staying with him because it was in her nature. She argued that they could find a way.
'It is too dangerous' she heard his words replay in her mind. Too dangerous? For her? Never!
Hannah was strong, and her loyalty to him made her resolve stronger. She was decent at potions and, with the help of Professor Slughorn, she could learn to brew a Wolfsbane Potion for her boyfriend. Heck, she was a bloody fine dueler too. She had learned so much from Dumbledore's Army and the war! She was a strong fighter and she had fought at the Battle of Hogwarts too! She could handle one bloody werewolf on one night of the month!
"I'm not leaving you, and that's final," she told him. Like all Hufflepuffs, she was loyal to a fault, and this made her stubborn. Sighing in defeat, her boyfriend shook his head, watching her with sad eyes.
"What would I do without you?" He asked and she smiled.
"Well, you wouldn't be doing this," she said before she pulled her boyfriend down by his tie, kissing him roughly.
Her boyfriend smiled into the kiss at her forcefulness. 'Since when did she become so forward?' He questioned in his mind. 'In retrospect, she would've made a good Gryffindor'.
"You witch!"
"You know it!" She replied with a smirk as she kissed Draco Malfoy, her boyfriend, once more. She knew she had won this argument.
'Perhaps even a Slytherin.'
A/N: This is the first one-shot I think I've written. Anyway, enjoy it! I got the idea from a prompt that gave the spotlight to lesser known characters (hence the main character).
