A slim girl dressed in a sparkly purple shoulder top that showed off her midriff, a sparkly purple mini skirt atop purple mini shorts, and purple boots, sat beside Danny for breakfast while she studied. Her name is Lexi Fenton.
"Oh my gosh! They said yes!" Jazz squealed as she came running in with a magazine.
Danny lifted his arms, "Who said yes? The person you asked if you were a conceded snob?"
"Danny!" Lexi chastised as she hit Danny upside the head.
Jazz gave Danny a dirty look. "No." She then gave Lexi a grateful smile, before holding up the magazine, "Genius Magazine said yes. They got my letter and want to put Mom on the cover!"
Lexi covered her ears as Jazz squealed again, rolling her violet eyes that matched her mother's and smiling at how happy her sister seemed.
"Genius Magazine?" Maddie looked at her younger daughter.
Jack reached over and stole the magazine right out of Jazz's hands, causing Jazz tp frown and Lexi to glare at him. "Genius Magazine!" He then glanced at Jazz. "Is it the swimsuit issue?"
"Uh, Dad, Genius Magazine is for women geniuses, by women geniuses, and about women geniuses." Jazz states before rolling her eyes.
Danny smiles and points at the magazine, "So it is the swimsuit issue!" He then made a face, realizing, "Oh! Gross, Mom's going to be in the swimsuit issue?!"
"It's not the swimsuit issue, Danny!" Lexi brushed a strand of her hip length black hair out of her face.
"But it is the perfect magazine to show that we have normal parents instead of a couple of ghost hunting freaks!" Jazz leaned over Maddie and took the magazine back from Jack.
"They're not ghost hunting freaks," Danny rolled his eyes, causing Lexi to shake her head at what he said.
"Hey, Danny, speaking of ghost hunting, check out the latest in ghost hunting technology!" Jack took the device Maddie was working on out of her hands. "The Ghost Gabber! Genius Magazine has to be interested in this. It takes the mysterious sounds a ghost makes and translates it into words you and I use every day."
Lexi stands and looks at Jazz and Danny. "I'm going to get going, I'll see you both at school." She then grabbed her stuff and left the house.
Later that day, Lexi sat on the grass under a tree during her last class period with her two best friends; Kat and Dia, playing an acoustic guitar and every now and again stopping to write something in a notebook.
Kat was reading a book on medical practices and listening to Lexi play the guitar. She was dressed in a sparkling one piece, bare shouldered orange dress that conceals a pair of mini shorts of the same color, orange ankle-high boots, and wrist length orange fingerless gloves covering her arms.
Dia was laying on the grass listening to Lexi's guitar playing with her eyes closed. She was dressed in a sparkling blue one-shoulder crop top, blue orange short shorts, blue knee-high boots, silver forearm-length bands, and a silver headband.
Lexi looks up at Kat, "What do you think of the music so far?"
Kat looks up from her book and smiles, "I like it, Lexi."
"It sounds awesome, Lexi!" Dia exclaims happily.
The bell rings, signaling the end of school. Lexi sighs and passes the guitar to Kat and gets up. "Well I better get home, I'll see you both tomorrow."
After they say their goodbye's, Lexi grabbed her stuff and began to walk home.
