Author's note: This is just some one shot BS I made because I wanted an excuse to not study for finals. If you expect anything... don't.
I don't know the first thing about Link. He doesn't talk or do much, but he always seems so intense. I was on my way to buy another potion when I saw him standing next to my chicken coop, his arm cradling one of my earthenware pots at his hip. When I opened the door he looked up from the chickens and stared at me with eyes that made winter seem warm. His face was stoic and chiseled as a marble statue, and his summer gold hair was fluttering slightly in the wind. My heart leapt when he did not break his gaze. He seemed to be studying me. I could pick out defined muscles behind the vivid green fabric as he lifted the pot above his head, still staring. A curious glint caught my eye as the sun bounced off of his sword when he moved. Before I could speak, his lips slowly parted and my heart stopped, leaving me cold and breathless when everything suddenly broke.
"HAH!" he flung the pot to the ground with unnecessary force, the earthenware pieces disappearing to reveal the glimmering blue Rupee I had been saving. He picked it up, jumped over the roof, and never came back.
