Jordus Kahhn glared at the old man standing in front of the door, and activated his lightsaber.

"Stand aside, or don't. At this point, I don't really care."

The man brushed some dust from his fancy lace cuffs, then looked back up, his attention focusing on the saber. "Ah, an energy emitting containment fitted hand weapon!" He quickly pulled out a small device and pressed a few buttons on it.

Jordus backed off, eying him warily.

The man paused, studying a readout, then said, "Judging by the signature, about two hundred million years ago..." He glanced at Jordus' confused expression, and amended, "Sorry, sorry, wrong calendar. Year 2,500 Old Republic."

"Old..?"

"Oh, dear. I mean-"

"It doesn't matter!"

Jordus launched forward, lightsaber slashing in one hand, Force lightning crashing from the other... to find the man no longer there?!

"Hai-ya!"

That was the last thing he heard before a hand from behind grabbed his arm and twisted it behind him, and another slammed his head into the blast door.

The Doctor watched the Sith apprentice slide senseless to the floor, and heard footsteps run up behind him. He turned, and smiled.

"Doctor! What is this... who is that?"

"It doesn't really matter, Jo. What does is getting back to the TARDIS." He took a glance back at the figure slumped on the floor. "Besides, the Jedi should be getting here momentarily."

"Who-" Jo found her question cut off as the Doctor seized her hand and dragged her into his ship, slamming the door.

Several Jedi Knights and armed soldiers charged into the room to confront a rapidly fading blue booth and a receding mechanical groaning sound. Their attention was caught more immediately by the groaning of an awakening Sith, who found several lightsaber blades at his throat, and more blaster rifles levelled at his head.

He raised his hands above his head, flexing his fingers to show there was nothing in them.

"Um, I surrender?"
