You hold a demon deep inside
it's cold hatred refuses to hide
And in the midst you know the pain
the hatred burns with blood red flame
The blood you spill is its thirst
But the desire it has will never disperse
As a child it was sealed away
But its hatred found a different way
It found the loneliness that you felt
It latched onto that, being your own sand pelt
And in the power that it gave you
it also gave you its hatred too
You hold a demon deep inside
Your cold hatred refuses to hide
