Revenge
As everyone ate their toasts and eggs, about 50 owls came fluttering in to the Great Hall, Wormtail anxiously looked up, hopeful. Yet, he did know that what he wanted was – criminal, or at least, he thought it would be, but he didn't mind doing a crime once in a while. That night he wrote another letter, and wrote in the end "Do not think of me as evil, it ... just happened." and not even 20 minutes later, he got an owl with an answer: "It happened? You're just taking advantage. You're a coward. Stay away.". It was then, that Wormtail finally realized that his dream was only a dream, and he wrote an apology letter to her, the person with whom he had done the crime of falling in love with.
"I am sorry, but he is not good for you. I just thought maybe, maybe we had it, we had a chance. I apologize. I really thought I loved you." Wormtail wrote and then watched the owl fly away from owelry, and at the same time he saw James' owl fly out, both of their owls seemed to fly in the same direction. Prongs gave him a slight grin, Wormtail nodded back innocently.
Within an hour, a well decorated letter came back and the owl dropped it on the table just as Prongs got up to go back to the dorm. Wormtail picked it up and without even looking at the envelope, tore it apart and started reading, all there was written was: "I love you. Meet me right now, Forbidden Forest.". Without thinking for another second Wormtail sprang to his feet, rushed up to the dormitory and got Prong's Invisibility cloak, waking Prongs up and as Wormtail rushed down, Prongs followed him to inspect. The Common room was empty except Prongs who extremely confused, approached the letter which lay on the table, and while the did so, Wormtail has already reached the Forbidden Forest, panting.
As he hid behind some shrubs, the Invisibility cloak half off him, Wormtail saw the red head approach and walk towards him. The Forbidden Forest had never looked less creepy, especially as he was waiting for Lily Evans, the girl who stole his heart. His heart pounding faster than ever, he started to get up, but never had he felt as sick as now, when he realized who was behind him, James Potter. He hid back in the shrubs and watched Lily hug James and say "I forgive.", and that day he swore to take revenge. Revenge for breaking his heart as a vulnerable teenager.
