Warning: Slight spoilers for ep 54.
A/N: Gah, I hate how short and abstract this is, but I don't have any plans for it, so I figured I might as well post it. Maybe, if I'm in the mood, I'll turn it into a full-length oneshot. Someday.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
On the Day of the Eclipse, I watched Luna wrap Sol in her inky embrace for the first time in what could have been centuries. Stories of forbidden love and bittersweet reunions flitted though my mind, reminding me fondly of Envy and I; two entities of the same world, but as different from each other as light is from dark, yet trapped in a love so binding and so pure and so beautiful.
I watched the beautiful display of affection that lay open for the world to see by myself that day, but I was waiting Envy to come home the next.
And I kept waiting, like Luna waited for her lover to have and hold her for a few fleeting moments once every few centuries.
I kept waiting, until the last vow of love for him slipped off of my tongue together with my last breath.
A/N: Sorry of it doesn't make sense. I hope it was at least a bit enjoyable, despite how short it is. Please don't flame the length. Ed's short, too, but we all still love him, right? :o)
