Info: Set in OotP. SIRIUS DOESN'T DIE :D
The Weasleys gathered around the table, with Harry and Hermione too. Mrs Weasley rushed and jumped around, blabbing "They'll be here soon! And they don't know about the party!". Almost as if she had predicted it, Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin apparated to the start of the long path that was set in between fields leading to the Burrow. Nymphadora Tonks' hair was purple, and brushed her shoulders slightly. She had her wand in her hand incase any danger arose. You could never be sure in these times, with Voldemort on the loose and all. Remus had his two scars across his face, both starting from the right side of his chin and stretching right across to the left hairline. His eyes were tired. He wore a beige trench coat and black trousers. He looked at Tonks, and his eyes brightened. Tonks smiled at him. "A year ago today, Remus" she grinned as they walked towards the Burrow, "we met for the first time. Look how far we've gotten in only a year". Remus smiled. They were just a couple, but he planned on marrying her soon. In fact, in his pocket was a beautiful ring. The band of the ring was thin and silver, and the jewel was a shimmering emerald twisted into the band in the middle. It was the perfect ring. Remus planned on proposing when they got back to their flat in Diagon Alley, after this. Remus lifted a tired hand and knocked three times on the door of the Burrow. The door swung open and they were hustled inside. "SURPRISE!" yelled everyone, the twins deliberately being late and cracking up at Lupin's face. Tonks grinned widely as they were pushed into their seats and nearly force-fed a great meal.
When Tonks finished her last bite of apple pie, Lupin was pulling her out of her seat. "Come on, Dora, we've got to go" he worried, fearing he wouldn't have time to propose when they got back. Tonks was taken aback at his rush, and his rudeness. "Remus" she hissed under her breath. Molly smiled "Now now, Remus, we want to talk to the lovely couple!". Remus eyes went alert.
"Really, Molly, we have to go"
"But surely you can-
"Remus, I'm sure we can stay a little longer-"
"Not like you've got any plans for tonight" the twins input.
"We're leaving now!" roared Lupin. The table fell silent. Tonks looked in fear at the man she loved. Lupin tried to calm himself, but failed to speak. "Well, I- I don't wish t force you, but I-"
"Thank you very much for your time, Molly. And for the party. I think we have to go" Tonks interrupted. She said her goodbyes before she was dragged out. "MOW WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" yelled Tonks when they were a safe distance from the house. This angered Lupin. They were already late, and now they were fighting."Well maybe it didn't occur to you that I had planned something else!" hinted Lupin angrily. Suddenly there was a rustle from the head-high grass surrounding the path. They both took out their wands. "What do you mean?" hissed Tonks.
"Well I had planned to-" Lupin began angrily, but suddenly their wands were out of their hands. Tonks looked around. Lupin walked forwards, away from Tonks, searching for the source. Then suddenly, Tonks shrieked "REMUS!". Then somebody's hand covered her mouth, the other wrapped around her waist. Lupin turned to see Fenrir Greyback restraining the woman he loved. "You let her go, Fenrir!" growled Remus. Fenrir grinned and laughed. "I've got plans for you, pup!" he snarled before holding Tonks more firmly and apparating off. Lupin turned back and began to run to the Burrow, then he felt the familiar sensation of apparation as someone grabbed him from behind...
