Sakura believes there is no heaven... but when she is with naruto, maybe there is... SakuNaru, NaruSaku. i'm not a big fan of Het, but this was done for a friend of mine.

you looked him over. over his orange baggy jacket, his baggy navy-blue jeans, his relaxed pose.

Naruto smiled at you as he left you on your front porch.

you had kept close contact with naruto for as long as you remember. especially since Sasuke left. Naruto was your way of calming yourself. his hyperactive attitude had NEVER calmed down... except when he saw your were hurting inside.

he always knew. it was as through you were waving around an invisible picket sign and Naruto was the only one who could see it. he'd walk upto you, smile, and ask if you wanted to go for a walk.

it always cheered you up, walking with him.

it had been 7 years since Sasuke left. Naruto had stayed in Konoha. he never told anyone why, he had been offered many missions for him to go overseas, but he stayed. no matter what. you thought it might've been something to do with you, but you merely shrugged it off.

Naruto smiled at you and started to walk away. he had lead you off on a midnight walk because you were feeling down again. he had lead you to a lake. the water glittered as though they were dimonds. you and Naruto stayed there, in complete silence until naruto's stomach demanded food, then you both started walking home.

Naruto had looked surprisingly handsome in the moonlight and reflections of the lake. you guessed it was just a trick of the light... but still, he looked pretty damn hot.

he even rivaled Sasuke's hotness.

you couldn't just let him leave. being with him was like heaven... although, you knew there was no heaven. your whole world was black... except that little hyperactive blonde. he always brought light into your dark and weary head.

"... wait! Naruto!" you called out, taking a step foward, your high heels clicking on the pavement a little.

Naruto turned around, looking at you curiously. "yeah?"

you couldn't say what you were feeling. you just couldn't. your feet brought you up so you were face-to-face with Naruto, then they stopped.

Naruto looked at you curiously, tilting his head slightly to the side.

oh the hawtness...

the moon was still shining and Naruto looked as handsome as ever. not that you would tell him this... but he was.

you didn't know what you were doing. your instincts just took over.

you slowly went onto your top-toes, leaning foward and closing your eyes.

your lips met his and you felt like you were floating on air.

his lips felt like silk. untouched, soft and smooth.

he kissed you back softly as you felt him slip his arms around your waist, fingering the ends of your long hair.

you smiled against his lips and wrapped your arms around his neck, allowing one of your hands to tangle in his blonde, spiky hair.

... maybe there was heaven after all...

... maybe everyone has heaven...

...your heaven was called Uzumaki Naruto.
