Summary: Rae dies and Princess Serenity has to transfer the mantle of the Sailor Mars to another person and Ranma is there to help out.
Chapter One:
Ranma Saotome had arrived in Juuban Ward in Japan. He was to go to school there. But he had to find a place to live and a job to support him. He saw a Shini temple and he saw that the temple had a 'Help Wanted' sign. He went up to see the master monk.
Rai's grandfather was sitting in the temple and he was waiting for his afternoon tea to be brought to him by his granddaughter. Ranma opened the door and stepped into the temple. He saw the short and bald elderly man and he froze and he thought that the guy looked a lot like Happy.
Grandpa Li opened his eyes and saw Ranma and he asked, "Who are you? I am the temple master here. My name is Miyoshi Li."
"Hello, I am Ranma Saotome and I'm looking for a job and a place to live."
"Well, Ranma, my boy, how do you like to live and work here?"
"I like that."
"Then you are hired!!"
Ranma got his duffle bag unpacked in his small bedroom.
Ranma came out when he heard six female-sounding voices in the main temple. He walked in and he saw six very beautiful girls. They were a dark-haired girl who had red highlights in her hair. She wore a schoolgirl's uniform. The other five girls were two blondes, a brunette and a blue haired girl. They wore another school's girl uniform and the brunette looked to be a tomboy. She reminded him of Akane Tendo.
"Who are you?" the dark haired girl asked with a frown.
"I'm Ranma Saotome. I just got hired to work here when I'm not in school."
"WHAT?! Grandpa!" she yelled.
"What, Rae?"
"You hired this boy?"
"Yes. I did. Ranma, meet my granddaughter Rai."
"Sorry about this." He said, with a bashful smile.
Author's Notes: I prefer the English names for the girls and I didn't know if Rae's had a name so I made one up. Miyoshi is from the 'Karkate Kid' movies and as to his last name they didn't say which grandpa he is to Rae. I just mad him her mother's father. I just had to get Ranma meet the girls first. As to the point of view I was trying to give the three characters a chance to show their personalities.
