Invitation

Regina was staring at the place where her son disappeared few seconds ago. It didn't take long and Rumplestiltskin came to her.

"Congratulations. You just reunited mother and son. Maybe one day they'll even invite you for dinner," he said with a sly tone. She looked so hurt and vulnerable so he had to take his chance to tease her. But he had no idea that it hurt her so much. She had tried to be perfect for her son, not to use magic anymore, but in the moment Emma appeared again, he completely forgot about her existence. Well, not really but he wasn't sad that she didn't join them.

"Regina?"

Former mayor looked at place behind Mr. Gold in the moment when blond Savior came in. Brunette and man opposite her were both surprised by her sudden presence. None of them expected her.

"Where are you?" Emma asked while she was staring at Regina with worried face – because Regina's eyes were filled with tears.

Although she was almost crying, the Queen spoke with a sarcastic and confident voice. "I am right here, Miss Swan." She couldn't fool anyone, even though she tried really hard.

"I thought you're going with us," Emma said confused.

Regina blinked and then she quickly wiped one tear that fell from her eye. "I didn't know I was invited."

Emma bit her lip; she still remembered the looks that her parents gave to her, but she wasn't going let Regina behind them, not after the rescue. Henry said she was trying to stop with magic when Emma asked him outside about his other mother – it was the moment when she realized that Regina wasn't with them. Snow, Charming and Ruby gave her dissenting glances but she ignored it. "Well, you were invited. And you're still are. So, are you coming, or not?"

Brunette just stared at her for a while, not sure how she should react. Then she simply nodded. "Yes, I am." She came to Emma and they together were going at Granny's where their shared son and their family were.

While she was passing Rumplestiltskin (who was staring at her unbelievably), she looked at him triumphantly. Because she's just been invited for dinner.
