Title: Trio of Chocolates
(Please don't kill me. I thought of this whilst doped up on calpol so forgive me. But I thought I'd do an Ariadne fic)
Ariadne smirked to herself. That kind of smirk her mom would ask what she was thinking of, because it wasn't innocent. She was thinking about the fact that she had kissed three guys of the team she worked with. She had kissed Arthur, Eames and Dom. All of the kisses weren't exactly hot topics, but they made her grin causing the little James Cobb across the table to give her a puzzled look. But the boy got back to his drawing. She looked at James, seeing only the top of his head now. Blond hair fell into his eyes that were mirror images of his father. Aww. It was Christmas Eve and she sat in the kitchen with James Cobb, who was drawing something. Ariadne pushed the bases of the glass of wine and the liquid swirled gently. All three kisses had their quirks, there was always something missing. Oh men...
The first kiss was Arthur. That was on the Fischer job. The projections were starting to get edgy, looking for the dreamer. Arthur said: 'Quick, give me a kiss'. It was simple and sweet. Arthur tasted (even in dream world) of honey and black coffee. Where did the honey come from? Then they broke apart, but the projections were still looking at them. Arthur was one of those guys who tested the waters before diving in. Ariadne respected him for that and they were on similar levels of thinking, excluding Art. That she was not going to go into…. Arthur's kiss reminded her of a plain milk chocolate button. It's nice, simple, and would never let you down.
Ariadne kissed Eames on a night out with the Englishman. They flirted and made jokes, she saw Eames in his comfort zone. Ariadne knew nothing would come of it because she knew Eames. He didn't hang about he liked movement. She had instantly bonded with the guy because of his joie de vivre and boyish charm. The kiss was a mix of whisky from him and rum and coke from her. It could have gone somewhere if Eames hadn't of broken off, giving her a wink and a lopsided smile. Eames' kiss on the other hand was more of the milk chocolate and sticky caramel chocolate. Dips of something sensual...
And she kissed Cobb under the mistletoe. Now, before all of you lot start throwing things this is how it happened. Ariadne had been invited to Cobb's home for Christmas Eve, a time of family friends and laughter. Ariadne knocked on the door and it opened revealing the man she hadn't seen in ages. He looked better, happier, and healthier then when she saw him last. Being small she had to look up, and spotted the mistletoe. Cobb – being alert – saw where she was looking.
"A salesman insisted to put that up there, it's Christmas after all," Cobb said and he leaned down and pressed an innocent kiss to her lips. Lasted about three seconds, and afterwards she heard voices that sounded like Eames and Yusuf. All through the evening she wined and dined with Arthur, Eames, Cobb, Yusuf and Saito. Oh and you can't forget Philipa and James Cobb. That last kiss was what Ariadne named the Bourneville Deeply Dark kiss. Purely on the basis that Dominic Cobb can't be innocent.
