"Sephiroth is dead." Cloud knew this, yet still, something just didn't seem right. He had defeated Sephiroth for a second time and the Geostigma was gone. Tifa, Denzel, Marlene, and himself were all living happily as a family now. Everything was back to normal. To ensure everyone's safety if Cloud were to disappear, he had been training Denzel for the past few years. Denzel was thirteen now. Even though Denzel fought with a metal rod, Cloud was still able to train him; he had learned a thing or two from watching Aerith fight. Denzel practiced a while after that; every now and then he would go to the outskirts of Midgar and fight some monsters, but he grew tired of Midgar and longed to see the world, so one day he told Marlene his ambitions. "But you can't leave, Denzel!" "Why not?" Denzel Protested. "I'm strong now, I'm older, smarter, and there's not that much here for me anyways." Marlene looks at the floor and made a whiny noise. Denzel couldn't let this stop him. Denzel went downstairs to the bar and asked Tifa if he could speak to her and Cloud for a moment. Denzel sat down at the bar table and Cloud and Tifa stood behind it. "I wanna leave." Denzel said, straight to the point. Tifa looked at Cloud confused, expecting a confused face to look back at her, but she saw none, for Cloud had seen this coming for a while now. "I want to see the world and make new friends, hone my skills and have fun with my life." Denzel Continued. "Wha? No, you're just a kid!" "Let him go." Cloud interrupted Tifa. "He should do what he wants; after all, we went on some crazy adventures ourselves didn't we?" Cloud said. "Yes but we weren't THIRTEEN!" Tifa said sternly. "We weren't trained by the best." Cloud joked. Denzel smiled but Tifa kept her straight face, and then looked at Denzel. "*Sigh* I...guess...you're fine to go, you have gotten strong..." Denzel smiled big at Tifa. "YES!" "BUT on one condition." Tifa started. "We get to choose someone to accompany you; we don't want you all by yourself." Denzel nodded and ran out the bar to go play. As soon as he was out of sight Tifa turned to Cloud. "And YOU'RE okay with this?" Tifa put her hands on her hips. "Sure I am, I trust him. Who're you gonna choose to go with him?" Tifa looked up as if to be thinking. "he he...I'm sure he'll LOVE my choice."
