This is a dictionary/guide to my Ancient Gamilon language, used in multiple fanfics. The language was something I created, so it is very likely that this is the only guide you will find to it. It will be updated periodically as new terms are used in the various stories.

Verb Rules:

Conjugation is denounced by a single-letter suffix. The verb structure itself does not change, and the conjugation is inferred by presence of the suffix. If a word which ends in one of these letters is not a verb, then the letter is meant as a part of the word.

There are no irregular verbs, since I see them as annoyances that could have been avoided.

The conjugation of present, past, and future is denoted by a prefix. The same rules apply as to the above conjugation (which, for clarification, refers to person conjugation, such as I, you, he, etc.).

Person:

I: k

You: r

He: x

She: z

We: q

They/Them: d

Example:

I: Juilk

You: Juilr

He: Juilx

She: Juilz

We: Juilq

They/Them: Juild

Tenses:

Past: Il

Present: no change

Future: Sa

Examples:

Past: Ilmi

Present: Mi

Future: Sami

Possessives:

Possession can be expressed in one of two ways:

- Placing the noun before the verb, and conjugating the verb to reflect the person: my house translates to "Ensilarbet relkik", where Ensilarbet is the noun and relki is the verb.

- A more archaic form would be to place the noun before the verb as before, but express possession by attaching the suffix "kha" ("of") to the unconjugated verb: "Ensilarbet relki'kha."

Likewise, some words change their meaning when made possessive: "juil", the word for "kill", becomes "death" when made possessive. (i.e. "Ensilarbet juilk" is "my death".)

Article Rules:

Articles use a similar system as the verb conjugations, adding a single-letter suffix to denote an article.

Articles:

A: e

An: a

The: i

Example:

A: centure

An: centura

The: centuri

Adjective Rules:

Adjectives can be represented in one of three ways:

- Added to the beginning of the noun, as in "shunjil" (detonation sequence).

- Added to the end of the noun with an apostrophe, as in "centur'eithkil" (starry sky).

- Placed before the noun as a separate word, as in "centur klishka" (cosmic disk).
