hey guys, this is my first Fallen fic. I decided to do a song fic using the song, 'This Is Home' by I Am Ghost as it suits the book Fallen so well.

Luce looked out the window of the Cabin. She wrapped her arms around herself and shut her eyes. She missed him…
Daniel Grigori… Fallen Angel, an Immortal. She met him again for the millionth time in her life and Sword and Cross academy, though she didn't realize.

She thought of the others, Arriane, Gabbe, Cam…
Cam Briel… The name left a bad taste in her mouth… and to think that she fancied him!
But she couldn't hate him… no matter how evil he may be she couldn't…

The battle was fresh in my mind. Leaving Daniel and Cam to fight, Miss Sophia betraying her, the death of Penn… She let out a sob.
'Oh Penn…I'm so sorry.' If only she had known from the start… She never should have trusted Miss Sophia…

Saying good bye to Daniel was the hardest thing she had to do, and vice visa. But he promised her that he'd see her again… she believed him.
At least the shadows were gone, but for how long was unknown…

I can feel the pain of the sun as it lights up the air

She closed her eyes and tried to let sleep take over but froze. She heard voices… 'Who's there?'
She calmed slightly when she heard Cam's voice. He wouldn't kill her, he couldn't.
A smile came to her lips as she heard the voice that replied to whatever Cam was saying… Daniel.

He came! He came but… she couldn't move. She knew she shouldn't. For some reason she knew that the two teens couldn't know she was awake.
She was so close to the reason she was alive… why she came back every 17 years… her one and only love Daniel… but somehow she knew… a nagging voice at the back of her head spoke the truth.
One day she would have to say good bye... for good.
