A/N: One-shot that I was actually LOOKING TO READ but couldn't find a story like it. So I decided to write my own. I don't own any characters/places/anything really…. Please R/R

Hermione sat on her cot in the tent, the rain thudding down onto the canvas. She was in Romania studying the dragons as part of her wizarding animal rights campaign. She had substantially changed how house elves were treated although she could not free them, and had now moved on to bigger animals.

Her blankets were pulled tight around her and she was trying to distract herself with a book. Another crack of thunder sounded and Hermione jumped. "Bloody hell." She groaned. Ever since she was a little girl she had been afraid of thunderstorms.

She sighed and stood up, peaking out of her tent door, Charlie's tent was only a few feet away. She put on her coat and ran as fast as she could, banging on his door.

Charlie answered the door with a confused expression, "What's wrong?"

"C-c-can I come in?" Hermione shivered.

Charlie grabbed her and pulled her into the tent, "What are you bloody thinking, it's freezing out there." He took her coat off and threw it onto the chair he had been sitting on. He pushed her to the fire and rubbed her arms.

"Th-Thunder." Hermione murmured.

Charlie laughed, "You're afraid of the storm?"

Hermione scowled at him, "Everyone has a fear." She sat down on his bed, "Can I hang out here with you until it's over?"

Charlie shrugged, "I don't see why not." He went over the small kitchenette, "Tea?"

"Yes please." Hermione crossed her legs on the bed. "So… what's your fear Charlie?" Charlie handed her a mug and sat down, he shrugged, "I don't know."

Thunder cracked loudly and Hermione jumped, spilling a bit of her tea. "Oh I'm sorry." She stood up and tried to clean the blanket.

Charlie put his hand on her arm to stop her, "It's ok, leave it." He took the cup from her and pulled down the covers, "Climb in."

Hermione bit her lip nervously but climbed into the covers anyway, Charlie followed her. "My fear," He said as he wrapped his arms around her, "is that I'll never tell the woman I love how I feel about her."

Hermione turned to face him, "I didn't know you were in love. Whose the lucky lady?"

Charlie laughed, "Never mind… look you're not scared anymore." A loud crack sounded and Hermione looked up, "Guess not…"
