(lacie's POV)
I waited in my room for my brother. I couldn't wait for him to arrive. But then he didn't come. So I went to him. I walked down stairs there he stood.
"Brother." I said, I ran down the stairs and hugged him. he hugged back. I knew what my brother was going to say. I looked up at him with those eyes of misfortune, the red eyes my brother thought should have been his.
"I'm sorry, lacie." he said, I pulled away from him. I wanted him to know I don't blame him for any of this I know its his job. As a glen.
"no I understand, its not your fault." I said, he nodded I knew what he felt. We walked out and got in the horse carriage. I looked around at the rain. very fitting for this moment where ill be banished. my brother probably wouldn't cry though I knew he wanted to. I got down on my knees as he approached me.
"as the child of ill omen (child of misfortune) I by pass judgment on you for carrying the burden of those eyes." he said, I sat there he touched my head and the chains begin to come up, I had to tell him my last words.
"brother, I want you to know it's not your fault, and I want you to live happily, and your the greatest brother I could ever have, and I want you to smile and share your happiness with others and don't worry about me, and when you think of me I hope you smile cause I want you to be happy and I love you brother good-bye." I said, then he begin to make his speech.
"sister, i love you to and I know it's my fault and your the best sister I ever had. it was a pleasure to have you in my life you touch it dearly, and my whole world is you lacie. I will miss you and ill keep you in forever with me in my heart good-bye." he said,and then the chains dragged me down. His speech was touching and wonderful ill miss him too, I closed my eyes and that was it..
