Bella sprang from her position by the window as the sun rose in the distance. Another fun filled happy day. She picked up her apron and tied it in a bow round her waist, skipping into the kitchen cheerfully. She hummed a merry tune from a Disney movie as she joyously tossed a couple of sausage into a pan and they sizzled. Bella smiled at them, this was so nice.
At this moment Edward came in.
"Bella!" Edward said happily.
"Edward!" Bella replied and they embraced.
"I love you!"
"I love you too!"
"I would never leave you for a skank whore or run away!" he smiled happily and Bella smiled back.
"I know darling, and I would never screw Jacob behind your back."
"Awwww, how considerate of you." said Edward merrily holding her hands in his and swinging them from side to side, sunshine in his heart. "What are you doing this fine summer's day?" Bella turned back to the stove where the sausages were now sizzling tunefully.
"I'm just trying out my new non stick pan that we got last night at that all night ikea shop" she replied nudging the sausages slightly. Edward smiled.
"How nice!"
"It is rather isn't it?"
"I love you!"
"I love you!"
"Did some one mention love?" Rosalie said cheerfully popping her head round the kitchen door.
"Heeeyyyy!" said Bella happily beckoning Rosalie over to her. "How's my favourite sister in law with blonde hair?" Rosalie giggled happily and threw her arms around Bella.
"Oh Bella you are so nice! Isn't it a nice day?"
"Yes very nice!" Edward said enthusiastically. "We should spend this time having one big group hug." The two girls brightened, if that was possible.
"I'll tell you what would be nice?" Bella said happily.
"What?" said Edward and Rosalie simultaneously.
"If we had one now!" Bella giggled and they all collapsed into a really nice hug. Awww, isn't that nice?
At this point Carlisle emerged from upstairs.
"Good morning." He said rather grimly compared to the manically grinning threesome, still hugging.
"It is good isn't it?" Edward chuckled. "Would you like to join our hug Carlisle?"
Carlisle looked at them distastefully and shook his head. "200 hundred years of studying and being Emo and this is what I have spawned."
The three of them smiled at him in a jokey way, he shivered.
At that moment Alice popped her head round the door. "What's that I hear?" she asked, cupping her hand to her ear. "Why it's the sound of a merry group of vampires smiling on a summers day."
"And having a group hug!" cried Bella. Alice grinned.
"Oh! Might I join you?" her smile was becoming ridiculously mirthful.
"Sure!" Edward cried and opened his arms slightly to allow her in.
Carlisle shock his head and walked out of the kitchen, the happy little gathering was now sighing happily at intervals. He came to sit next to his wife who sat on the sofa.
"Isn't it nice that they're getting along?" Esme mused as he put his arm round her.
"I don't know," Carlisle sighed again and a slight frown appeared on his perfect face. "Sometimes…I can't help but yearn for the good old days.
