Jane climbed down from the porch and went straight to the backyard to escape from her bodyguards. Two bikes were waiting for her. "Hurry up Jane!" said Roy. Roy is Jane's neighbor and best friend. They usually go to vacations and trips together. Although they were of the same age, Roy was in middle school already.

As soon as Jane got to the bike, they rushed off as if there would be a storm coming. As soon as Aunt Mary finds out about this, she'll go nuts! I just hope that she wouldn't throw Cliff and the others out of the house again! Jane thought. "So, where're we going?" '"to the lake by the mountain." Roy replied. "There's a lake there?" "Yeah, me and my pals found it." There was no telling of who or what Roy's pals were. Sometimes, they would be just plain old trees. Sometimes, they would be dogs, at times they would be birds. Roy loves to venture out and discover stuff other people were too busy or too afraid to discover. One time, Roy found a field of lilies by collecting bugs of different shapes and sizes, he almost got lost on his way back. Luckily, he saw his landmark. The big old oak tree. Yes, that was his land mark. It had a triangle shape that's why.

Jane and Roy could see the lake now.

They parked their bikes by a big shady tree and headed there by foot.

Jane was fascinated by what she saw. The lake's water had a little touch of green and white. But most of all, the lake was dodger blue. It was mesmerizing, a very beautiful sight to see. "Do you like it?" Roy asked. "Yeah, never in my life have I seen such a wonderful sight! It's amazing!" they climbed up a tree to see its overview. It was still as astounding. On the right side of the lake, there was another old oak tree. This one was much bigger than Roy's landmark. This one was about two to three meters in width.

The whole time they've been chatting and has lost track of time. Roy glanced at his watch. "Oh shoot! It's almost six!" He panicked. "Why? What's up?" Jane asked Roy who was currently going down, more like falling off the tree. "Dad's coming home early today. If he finds out I left home without telling anyone, he'll be furious!" quirked Roy. "Oh I see. Well then, let's get going!" as soon as Jane got to her bike, Roy bolt out of her side as if he were driving a car. "Hey! Wait up!"

On their way home, Cliff spotted Jane and got her into the car with Roy. Roy was dropped off at his house just on time. Jane got home too. Aunt Mary was there to welcome her. Aunt Mary was Jane's personal maid. She had a goldish brown skin, her hair was always pulled to a neat bun and she wore white colored glasses. She had been taking care of Jane since she was two. Cliff on the other hand, had white skin. He only worked as one of Jane's bodyguard for a year. The two were very close to Jane. Jane went directly to her room after having some pumpkin soup. I have to go back there. But I don't want to trouble anybody. She thought. Maybe tonight. Yeah, tonight's good! Although she was rich and pampered, she was not afraid to go out alone. She packed up her stuff together some food in case she gets hungry. "Flash light, check. First aid kit, check. Air gun, check. Roller skates, check, camera, check. Food and drinks, check. All set. All we have to do is wait for dinner to be finished. "Jane! Dinner's ready!" shouts a high pitched voice. Well, here it is! Better make this fast!
