Suddenly a wave of realization hit me. I knew what was going to happen; I was being punished.
Then I felt it, the searing pain going down the left side of my back, then the right. He was ripping my wings, tearing them from my body. I could no longer be in heaven. I had spent too much time on earth. I could feel the blood pouring out of the gashes, onto my back, my neck, my hands- all covered in blood. The pain was inexpressible. Words couldn't capture how it felt. Like my whole body was being submerged in acid, and lit on fire at the same time. I let out a shriek of agony. I just wanted to be with Nora. I knew I would never see her again, and the pain of knowing that was so many times greater then what I was feeling now.
"You are no longer part of my kingdom. You now belong to Lucifer. You will walk on earth, among the humans, and you will be as they are. You will feel pain. You will suffer for your sins."
Then I was falling back to earth. I landed on my back in the woods that skirted Nora's house. I screamed, agonizing pain ran throughout my whole body. I just wanted to see her, to tell her I loved her once more.
