Happy Almost Thanksgiving! Since we are preparing for our Winter Concert in my school band, i decided to write this. The pieces this year have a theme, which is Noel. Every piece so far has the word "Noel" in the title. This idea came since I go around with "Noel" stuck in my head all day long. I know it itsnt even Thanksgiving, but this idea was bugging me, and Matsuda is an idiot.

I dont own anything mentioned in here.

It was the week of Thanksgiving in the Kira Investigation HQ. Normal people were looking forward to turkey, friends, and family. Matsuda, on the other hand, was one of those people that forgot the importance of Thanksgiving, and jumped directly to celebration Christmas. In November.

Matsuda was walking around the HQ with an iPod in his hand. He was blasting Christmas music from it.

"Noel, Noel!" Matsuda sang joyfully.

The entire team wanted to tape his mouth shut. L decided that he needed to intervene before it got that far.

"Matsuda," L began," what makes you think that it is ok to go around the room singing Christmas tunes?"

"Well, duh! It's almost Christmas, silly!" Matsuda replied.

" I understand that it is Christmas time, a time of joy and peace for many who celebrate it. But you should not go around singing songs like that," said L.

"Well why not?" Matsuda shot back with a pout.

Light, who had been listening, wondered how stupid a person could get.

"Because," L started, " it is implying that I should not be allowed, or here."

"What do you mean?" asked Matsuda?

Light, who was still watching, was amazed at how stupid and clueless Matsuda could be.

"Maybe Light-kun could explain. He is so smart, after all," L said.

Light sighed. L just loved mocking him.

"For starters, stop mocking me. Don't say you weren't mocking me, because we all know you were. Understand that, Ryuuza-"

"Understand what?" Matsuda interrupted.

"Forget it. Anyway, Matsuda, as you know, Ryuuzaki's actual name is L, but we call him Ryuuzaki. If you say 'noel' the right way, you are basically saying 'no L'," Light finished.

After a moment of pause, Matsuda showed that he understood by letting out a big:

"Ohhhh….."

"Thank you so much, Light-kun," L said.

There was the mocking again. Light knew that L didn't mean it.

"So, Matsuda," L began, "what are we not going to do anymore?"

"Noel," Matsuda replied sadly.

"Very good, Matsuda. That means no singing that anytime of the year," L said.

"Well," Matsuda began uncertainly, " I do have another song…and it goes like this: I'm a Barbie Girl, in a Barbie Worrrllld! Life is plastic! It's fantastic! You can brush my hair! Undre-"

Matsuda fell to the ground. Light stood behind him with a heavy book. L looked at him, surprised.

"Well…I…um…Sayu just loved that song….and listening to it-or listening to Matsuda sing it-just makes me sad in the way that it reminds me of her. I hope you understand, Ryuuzaki," Light said.

"Light-kun, just get rid of the iPod. Who knows what else is on there," L said, looking slightly scared.

"Right…."

:) Have a nice turkey day.
