Hey guys this is a request from someone and I promised her I would work on it immediately. This is a one-shot story of Rai saying something that hurts Finn's feelings. Sena tries to comfort Finn after what Rai said. Enjoy! I don't own tai chi chasers!
It was peaceful morning at the tigeriod airship. The birds were singing the wind was blowing at the right speed. Everything was calm until Rai's yells were heard everywhere in the ship. At the game room Finn just beat Rai ping-pong and Rai was really angry about it.
"How can you be so calm about beating me? It seems you're just gloating at me without words." Rai yelled angrily while pointing accusingly at Finn while the other members of the team were watching with wary expressions. Sena was the first one to speak up.
"Rai Finn doesn't gloat. He thinks beating the opponent is enough and that gloating is just a waste of time." Sena said angrily at Rai.
"Then why doesn't he say that?" Rai countered.
"Because I don't have to. I don't have to prove anything to you or anyone else.' Finn answered.
"Is everyone in your family this cold? If they are then I wouldn't be surprised if they were hated all over the world." Rai said shocking everyone including Finn.
"Rai!" Sena, Tori, Donha and Hak yelled
Finn wasn't saying anything. Instead he was looking at Rai as if he killed someone close to him. To Rai's surprise Finn's eyes began to water.
"You're wrong about my family! Everyone loved us! I used to be a cheerful person! I was until my family was attacked and my mother was killed and my sister disappeared without a trace! How would you feel if your mother was killed Rai?! Wait why am I asking you this! You wouldn't understand how it's like! Your mother is still alive, but I can no longer see my mother or talk to her anymore! I don't even know if my sister is alive or not!" Finn yelled as he slapped Rai across the face and ran into his room in tears.
"I'll go see Finn, but Rai I don't want you near him until you say sorry." Sena yelled as she ran to Finn's room.
When she got there Finn was crying into his pillow while holding a family portrait before the attack.
"Finn?" Sena asked quietly.
"Go away Sena." Finn said forcefully.
"No please. Finn I don't know why Rai said that hurtful thing to you. But now I know that you still miss your mom and your sister." Sena said as she walked over to him and began to stroke his hair.
"It's not just that Sena. I just want this war to be over. I want to find my sister and be able to hug her and smile again. But I can't do that while the war is going on." Finn said as he sat up in bed with his eyes red from crying.
"Don't worry. We'll end the war and once we do we'll find Brianna and reunite with her and your father." Sena said as she gripped his hand.
"Promise?' Finn asked.
"I promise and I cross my heart." Sena said as she kissed his cheek.
Together they stayed there. Hand and hand, enjoying each other's company until nightfall.
