Prologue:
The Fall
For many years, people denied their existence. After all, there was no proof otherwise. So, they remained a secret β always watching over, but never interfering with the human world. That isβ¦ until they fell. They crashed to the earth in a booming blaze. At first, very few believed them, and those that did wanted to turn them in to the government for experimentation. Then one day, the witch responsible emerged. She had stolen their powers β their immortality.
The mortals only had once chance of survival β the sorcerer by the name of Alfred Montery. He slayed the witch, but it was not without cost. The mortal world was thrown into apocalyptic chaos, and Montery perished alongside the witch. However, before he died, he used the last of his strength to entrap their immortal grace inside smooth glowing stones. The stones were scattered around the world. Now, an organization simply known as 'X' is trying to find the stones and take the powers within.
Against them marches an army of mortals that struggle to get the powers to their rightful owners, and correct the wrongs in their own world. A base was constructed by the first to reclaim his powers. It was a safe haven impenetrable by mortals. He knew he could not take down Organization X alone, so he remained within his base, waiting for his family to join him.
My name is Athena, and this is howOlympus fell.
