Jenny paced around the basement, she had no idea why she was there, how was she going to tell him that she was alive that she hadnt actually died in the shootout that for the last 2 years she had been in witness protection living a diferent life.
She heard him open up the door to the basement as she was about to give up and leave she instead turned and moved over to the workbench in the corner. She perched herself up on it away from his sight shrouded in darkness until he turned the light on, she could see the confusion on his face as he picked up on her perfume, the pain that shot through him and his emotiond that came to the top. She hated to see him like this, she got up and walked over to him.
" Jethro " she whispered her voice cracking with the emotion.
He looked at her and shook his head. " you are dead jen. I miss you too much thats why i can see you. Just leave me be" he whispered back in a horse voice.
Jenny grabbed a hold of his arm " i am here Jetho, I am standing here in your basement watching as you stand there and prepare for a night of drinking bourbon and sanding your goddamn boat. A night of nothing when in reality i am here and i want you."
He looked at her and lifted his hand to her face tracing the contours of her lips and face wanting to believe that she was there.
" I love you Jen" he whispered as he leant down and kissed her.
" I love you too" jenny whispered back as she returned the kiss and felt the work bench behind her.
