Kevin's Birthday
Kevin woke up one day in his yawned. Then he went to to the kitchen where his mom was sitting.''Good morning, Mom,'' Kevin said cheerfully. His mom also said good morning. Then she said, ''I made pancakes for breakfast."Kevin quickly began to eat pancakes on his plate. After pancakes were gone, his mom said, ''Dear, do me a favor and take this basket of cookies to Harvey." Kevin shook his head angrily and replied,''I want nothing to do with him." His mom began to tell him that it was actually Harvey, his stepfather, who helped them financially, and he raised Kevin as his own by taking him fishing and to the movies. Kevin replied,'' He convinced you kick me out on the street, when I accidentally destroyed our home."His mom replied, ''You only know the half of it, because after few minutes after you left, Harvey went out to talk to you about what you did, but he didn't find you. So, he went to look for you around the whole neighborhood. When he couldn't find you, he and I were heartbroken."Kevin sighed. Suddenly, his phone rang. He answered, and after a minute he hung up and said, ''Trouble downtown. Got to go. Bye," Kevin said as he ran outside his home, got into his car, and drove off. When he got there, he saw Ben(who was transformed into Fasttrack) and Gwen. They were fighting Volcanus. Kevin absorbed his car and began to help fight Volcanus. Finally, they defeated him. Then, Fasttrack tied him to a tree. He turned back in Ben. Gwen said to Volcanus, ''Stay like this, until the Plumbers come and put you in prison." Kevin asked Gwen, ''How about dinner?" Gwen replied, ''I'm busy today." Kevin nodded his slowly. Ben said, ''Go home, Kevin."Then, Ben transformed into Jetray and flied off. Gwen used the teleportation spell and disappeared. Kevin sighed and drove home. When he opened the door, and walked in, his mom, Harvey, Ben, Gwen, Julie and Argit shouted, ''Happy Birthday, Kevin" Kevin was speechless. So, everyone ate cake and then gave presents. Ben gave him a card and $20 gift certificate to his favorite café. Kevin said, ''Thanks, and I bet I could get more money by selling this Famous Ben Tennyson signed card online." Ben sighed. Gwen gave him a book about technology. Kevin smiled and said ''Thanks."Argit gave him all the money he owed him. Kevin nodded. It was the thought that counts. His mom gave him a black leather jacket. Harvey asked Kevin to come outside in the back yard. When got there he saw a Red Ferrari. Harvey gave him the keys and smiled. Kevin, who was looking down shamefully, said,'' Thank You, even though I don't deserve it." Gwen asked, ''Now, that you know why I refused dinner tonight because of your surprise party, how about we spend the whole day together, tomorrow…..hmmm?"Kevin shook his head, ''Not tomorrow" Everyone looked at Kevin in shock. Kevin smiled, looked at Harvey, and said, ''Tomorrow, I'm going fishing with my dad."
