This is my first time writing a fanfic and publishing it to this website, so please, be kind. Also, the Hikari Marik will be named Malik, and his alter ego is Marik. Same with Bakura. Yami Bakura is Bakura, and Ryou Bakura will be known as Ryou.

Bakura groaned as he sat up. He remembered that he and his younger brother started school today. Bakura stretched and yawned, looking to his side to see the smaller, similar-looking brother in the bed next to him. He chuckled quietly at the smaller male, noticing that he was drooling a little. Bakura got up and opened the blinds, and turned around. He walked back to his brother, placed a hand gently on his shoulder and began to shake his brother awake. "Wake up, stupid! Time to get ready for school!" He laughed out loud when Ryou jerked awake. "Don't do that, Kura! It's not funny." Ryou said sleepily, standing up and held onto his brother for support as he waited for his head to not be light anymore. Bakura pushed the younger male off of himself and stretched. Ryou stood back up after he had fallen back onto his bed. Both of the two males changed into their school uniforms, which consisted of a blue jacket, white button-up shirt, and blue jeans, with blackened shoes. The only difference between the who males was the slight height difference,one had brown eyes, the other maroon, and Bakura's hair was more spiked than Ryou's.
"Well, I suppose it's time to go" Ryou whispered, more to himself than to Bakura. He grabbed an apple to eat on the way there, and opened the door leading to the outside world. Bakura closed the door behind the two and locked it, placing the key in his pocket. He walked next to the smaller of the two, noticing that their two man group turned into about eight. Ryou said hi to Yami and his twin brother, Yugi, and to Joey and Tristian. Joey's girlfriend with the porn-star body and name, Mai Valentine, had her arm slumped around the blond male's shoulders. Ryou chatted happily with the dorky group of friends, while Bakura stayed quiet, keeping his face drawn in a bored look. Yami turned his attention to Bakura and began to talk to the tall albino. Bakura talked back, only as small talk. He didn't care about Yami. He wished that they hadn't come up to them, but it wasn't a surprise that they did. Mai's best friend, Duke Devlin, pulled Yami's attention away from me, causing me to be silent once more.
We finally arrived at school. Both Ryou and I went to the front office, grabbing our schedules from there. Bakura smiled inwardly to himself, happy that they both have the same classes. They both went to their homeroom, realizing it had Yugi and Yami, and two male teens in it. Ryou went up to the two strangers and introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Ryou. It's nice to meet you. Who might you be?" The taller of the two males, with wild hair, smirked. "I'm Marik Ishtar, and this is my brother, Malik." He explained. I walked up beside Ryou and shook Marik and Malik's hands. "I'm Bakura, Ryou's brother" Marik and Malik nodded and introduced themselves again. Bakura nodded and turned back to Yugi and Yami. He watched them play their card games with each other. He was surrounded by dorks, two strangers, and his brother. This year was going to be a long year...
