This story is a oneshot dedicated to all my friends at The Legend of Zelda Rping Forum. So without further ado, I present... The doors of death (Hinted GanondorfxLink)

Link walked through the massive door and turned when it slammed shut. He watched as the tall muscular man he'd been destined to defeat played his massive organ. He looked up and saw Zelda in her violet crystal and then back to the man he once looked up to. The now self proclaimed King of Evil, Ganondorf.
Link wasn't afraid to admit he admired Ganondorf, even at one point loved the man, and he was loved back. Then like a curse, Ganondorf was driven into insanity and into a power hungry monster by Din and her goddamned Triforce of Power! Link had broken the curses on the temples and had finally reached his one time lover. He was going to set him free.
Ganondorf chuckled and turned to face Link. "These toys are to much for you!" After a pause he added, I command you to return them to ME!" He fired a wave of darkness at Link and the fairy and then laughed as he used his dark powers to levitate over the field changing it into a battleground. He raised his fist and with a yell punched the ground. The first ring of tiles fell to the ground almost instantly and he chuckled as Link rolled out of the way sword ready. He lifted his hand and summoned an energy ball and threw it at the boy.
Link saw the ball coming and smacked it with his sword back at Ganondorf, as he expected it was deflected by the larger man's hand. They went back and forth for a few minutes before Ganondorf was a mere second to late and the ball of energy smacked him in the chest. Link drew his bow and fired a light arrow at Ganondorf.
Ganondorf yelled in pain when the arrow of pure light struck him and he fell to his knees on the ground. He held his neck and breathed heavily when he saw Link approach him. He watched as the boy drew his sword and struck out at him. With every hit he yelled in pain, one two three four, again and again. He finally felt the effects of the arrow wear off and with a powerful "HA!" threw Link back to the wall. He lifted his arms into the air and summoned massive amounts of dark energy into a giant ball and before he had a chance to use it he was struck again by a light arrow.
Link watched as Ganondorf once again fell to the ground and he jumped to the center platform and drew his sword. He swung at the man multiple times after the eleventh swing, it happened. Ganondorf screamed in pain and stood up releasing his neck for a few moments before falling to the ground once more. He breathed deeply and exclaimed "The Great evil king Ganondorf beaten by this kid?" Link watched as Ganondorf coughed up a large amount of blood and reached out to him, before saying one last word... "Link..!" Link watched as the man stood up and raised his arms to the ceiling before screaming in intense pain all the while the massive windows shattered and the whole room began to disintegrate until all that was left was the circular roof of the Castle. Link watched with tears in his eyes as Ganondorf fell to his knees and then to floor... His lover... had breathed his last.
A/n: So sad. That part always made me cry. And I always wondered how Ganondorf knew Link's name, as it was never said to him at any point in time during the game y'know? Anyway Merry Christmas guys, and I hope you enjoyed the story. Roxel out!
