A/N: Haha, ever noticed how love teams on TV are sometimes impossible in real life? They look so good together yet sometimes either the man/woman end up with a different significant person.
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto and its characters, Neji and Tenten.
People saw what they couldn't see.
The 'you' and 'I' put together.
The love in between, complete with a heart.
A perfect match: the pair of opposites, complementing each other.
Contrasts in attitude, the happy-go-lucky that she was and the ever-so-serious him.
Smiles and scowls, warm and cold, optimism and pessimism, impulsive and cautious, perfection and imperfection could be seen between this lady and gentleman.
She and he as destined to be.
Their chemistry was evident, yet they choose to disregard it as an outcome of frantic hands waving and a sheepish smile accompanied by a glare and silent dismissal.
"Let's see, there's that stupid love team they made up…"
"Just ignore, they'd stop soon enough."
Hardly, people did. A first impression lasts a lifetime they say...
Always mistaken for a couple, love birds and more than just friends.
All because they most likely appeared to be.
She mutters, "You'll never stop, huh…you guys..."
"Do I ever!" A laugh escaped from her blonde friend's lips.
Inquired to him by his own peer, "Are you in a relationship with her?"
"No, I don't."
Their so-called love team…
She believed it was impossible, same with him.
All because they knew deep down…it was only for show; for people's amusement.
The feelings wouldn't be mutual.
He wouldn't be falling for her.
She wouldn't be falling for him.
Over thinking, meaningful stares, secret smiles, and same thoughts wouldn't exist. At all.
'If only you knew…'
Even though, the people around them already knew.
'I'm already in love with you.'
A/N: Drabble here and there. I'm all over the place. I'm supposed to be preparing for my 7 minute speech this afternoon. Oh well, this is what happens when you try to solve Calculus problems before that.
Mind is on haywire, especially with my current life. Should I continue with a new drabble collection again? Read and review.
