"Naruto, just let go!"
"No way! I'll die!"
"You will not die, I'll catch you!"
"But it's like a three hundred meter drop!"
"It's two meters."
"It's close enough!"
"Naruto, I didn't use the free tickets I won to take you rock climbing, if you're going to think that three hundred meters is equivalent to 2. You are not going to die. I promise. Now let go."
"How the hell can I trust you?"
"If you let go of the rope, and fall, I'll tell you."
"Do you promise you'll catch me?"
"...Fine"
"Okay...I trust you. And you'd better believe it!"
"Whatever, just hurry up and let go!"
Naruto let go of the rope he was holding onto, thus succumbing himself to the two meter drop. He felt himself falling when there suddenly there was a pair of strong arms wrapped around him, holding him in a Princess carry.
"Thanks, Sasuke! Hey, it turns out I didn't die after all!"
"I said you wouldn't. "
"Heh, I guess you're right! Hey, are you gonna tell me why I should trust you?"
"Well, are you sure you wan't to know?"
"Oh yes yes yes I do!"
"I love you."
Naruto was in silence. "Are you serious, Sasuke? If that's a joke, then that's a mean one-" Naruto was cut short as Sasuke pressed his lips against Naruto's ones softly. Naruto slowly kissed back and grabbed the back of Sasuke's neck to steady himself. Breaking apart, shortly after, Naruto slid out of Sasuke's hold and hugged him around the chest.
"I... I love you too, Sasuke."
"..."
"...Sasuke?"
"I'm just...happy."
"Oh my god, Sasuke, you're smiling!"
"S-Shut up. No I'm not!"
"Yes you are!"
"Fine then, I am!"
"It's... cute when you smile."
"I am not cute."
"Don't deny such an obvious fact, Sasuke."
Naruto leant forward and kissed Sasuke's cheek. Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto and hugged him back.
"I'll never leave your side."
"And I'll never leave yours, Naruto."
And they locked lips once more.
Well, that was probably one of the weirdest fluff based pieces I've ever written.
Personally, I don't think Sasuke is cute at all. I mean, sure he had his cute moments, but otherwise no.
