Chapter 1: Victories birth
Fleur gave an anguished scream
"OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"
Bill clutched at Fleur's hand, trying but failing to calm her. Fleur was lying on a bed in St Mungo's waiting to give birth to her first child. All the family were waiting outside including Teddy who was now two years old having had his birthday in April and Andromeda Teddy's grandmother. The contractions were getting closer together as the hours past and everyone was anxiously awaiting the birth of the first Weasley grandchild.
Until, on the first hours of the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts the 2nd of May, Fleur was ready to push. Fleur pushed with all her might and squeezed Bills hand so tight he thought he would be scarred for life. Two minutes later, the couple's first child was born.
"Congratulations! You have a baby girl weighing 7.8 pounds and perfectly healthy," the midwife said.
She then handed the squirming pink bundle to Fleur who cradled her new baby girl in her arms and tears of joy came running down her face. Bill looked over her shoulder smiled at his little girl.
"What shall we call her," he asked Fleur.
"I like Victoire, What do you think?" she said.
"Yeah, middle name? I was thinking Molly," Bill said.
"I love it. Victorie Molly Weasley," Fleur said smiling down at the bundle in her arms.
Victorie opened her bright blue eyes and gave a tiny smile to her mother and father. She yawned a little yawn and snuggled up to her mother. Victorie was every image her mother with a short tuft of blond hair and blue eyes.
Bill asked "Can I hold her," and fleur handed her over carefully in fear she might drop her.
"We should let the family in soon," he said holding Victoire to his chest.
"You're right let's get them in soon," she replied.
They stayed in the birth room for another five minutes both still staring peacefully at their daughter. Then Bill gave Victorie back to Fleur and went to get his family and Fleur's from the waiting room.
He saw all is family waiting for him and said "While you've been waiting here I've become a father."
He led the grandparents through to Fleur's room and straight away Molly and Fleur's mum were cooing over Victoire while Mr Delacour looked over their shoulder. Arthur congratulated Bill and then went over to stop Molly from hogging Victorie.
Next in was Gabrielle who Fleur and Bill agreed should be the godmother to Victorie.
After that came the family which consisted of Percy and his wife Audrey, George and Angelina, Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny. They all held Victoire in turn and all agreed that she looked exactly like her mother.
In the middle of this Fleur fell asleep and was too late to see the couple's last visitors Teddy and Andromeda.
Andromeda held Victoire while Teddy looked over in awe as if he had never seen a baby before and said "who is that gwanma," and when she told him it was his new cousin after silently agreeing this with Bill a big grin lit up his face and he said "I wike her," and then just stared at Victoire.
Later that evening, Fleur and Victoire were discharged from St Mungo's after the healer said they were both in perfect health. The happy family flooed back to Shell cottage with Victoire safe in Bills arms.
They collapsed on the sofa in the lounge after a long and tiring day.
