My Release
As I stood on the brink of my execution, I couldn't help but to think about how I had ended up there. After all when I lived beyond the wall I was an excellent girl, who always helped out when it was needed and was never caught doing anything illegal. So people may be asking how I ended up being lifted into the air at the execution site in the soul society.
It's all because of him, I think as I look down at the face of the man I fell in love with, the man who I would follow anywhere, the man who in the end was the one to turn me in to the leaders, who caused my untimely demise.

He won't even face me now, won't look up as the giant fiery bird forms before me. His eyes are closed as I feel the heat brush my face and the tears sting my eyes. What he blamed me for, what he believes isn't all true. In fact I only deceived him a little bit, just to get closer to him. Just to hear him whisper to me.
The bird is getting ready to strike now, and all I can think about is the man I love who, because of jumping to conclusions has rid himself of any feelings he had for me. The thought causes red to surround the teal in my eyes, I've been crying to much lately.
Here it comes, my executioner of fire. The strength of a thousand soul cutters in one weapon shows what an awesome power it must be. There is no hope for me now, just the hope for luck in my next life, strength to come back here, instinct to come back to his arms again.
"Wait for me…" I say loudly enough for everyone to hear as the bird charges. My last vision was of him finally opening his eyes to look at me.
Then I was turned to ash, and the world was rid of me.
