Lisa Comes Clean
One day after school, a young Milhouse Van Houten was walking over to the Noiseland Arcade, to play some games, meet up with his best buddy Bart Simpson, and spend his mom's alimony. But today, someone he has wanted to be stopped by would stop him. Who was he stopped by? Let's find out, shall we.
Milhouse was walking home with a broken glass lense, and a battered body. Nelson Muntz, the school bully, had just beaten him up. As he walked along he heard a noise shuffling through the bushes.
"Who's that?" he said with fear in his voice. He heard a small whimper.
"Never fear!" he yelled, "Milhouse is HERE!!"
He ran into the bushes only to find Lisa Simpson, Bart's younger genius sister (and his apparently hopeless crush) sitting behind a bush with a deep cut on her knee. She cried to him, "Oh Milhouse, I'm so glad you came! Nelson pushed me and I landed in this rosebush."
Milhouse thought for a second. This wasn't the way that Lisa took home. She lived on the other side of town. Now that he thought about it, this was the exact route he used to get to his house.
He stared at her cut knee, then at her. He smirked in his lovey-dovey sort of way and said, "I thought you live thataway." He pointed backward.
"Um….uhhhh," Lisa grinned sheepishly, "I was wondering if you wanted to go to Planet Hype after school today for some burgers, then to the Googolplex to see Mamma Mia, or if you wanna see something else then that's fine cuz I'm always fine-"
"Lisa," he interrupted in a sing songy voice, "do you like me?" He fluttered his eyelids in a peculiar manner.
Lisa, who was obviously red in the face, and had enough sweat on her palms to cause Hurricane Simpson, screamed, "YES!!!!!!!" And then, starting quite swiftly, lengthened her arms to reach Milhouse's shoulders and violently pulled him to her, screaming," Milhouse! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOOOOOUUUU!!!! I have always loved you, always! I rejected you cuz you'd think that I'm too willing! But Milhouse, I WANT YOU TO WANT ME, AND I NEED YOU NOWWW!!!!" And with that she pressed her lips onto his.
At first, poor Milhouse didn't know what to do, but then he imitated her (in a good way people.) He tightly hugged her, and she strengthened her hold. His glasses broke directly down the middle, but he didn't care. They were in love. Or were they? At least he hoped so.
Gradually, the new couple pulled away. Lisa cleared her throat and asked, "So um, wanna go? The movie starts in an hour, and if we wanna get a bite to eat, maybe we should leave."
Milhouse smiled, and asked, "Shall we?" And held out his hand. She gently put hers in his, and they walked up the street.
