Sherlock was woken by a text, For once, not from Mycroft, John or Moriarty. Before he looked at his phone, Sherlock looked over his shoulder to see Lestrade standing in the doorway.

"The text said wake up" said Lestrade as he left the room. Sherlock got up and dressed, walked to the kitchen and said

"What now, Lestrade? Who's been killed now? What's been broken into?"

"Sgt Donovan's been shot. Anderson's alrig—"

"Why couldn't Anderson get shot and Sally be alright? Anderson lowers the IQ if the country every time he thinks."

"As I was saying, Sherlock. Sally's been shot, She's in a stable condition at St. Bartholomew's. Anderson's alright, Distraught though. Loves Sally, he does. That's why he went to Jennifer Wilson's case. That's why he volunteered for the 'Drugs Bust'" Lestrade said, getting quieter and quieter as he got further and further through his sentence. Sherlock looked over at Lestrade and smiled, briefly.

"I'm going to see Sally, I need to know everything about the gunman. If Anderson's there, he will need to leave, He's distracting."

"Sherlock, Sally will tell you all she can, I got some out of her yesterday, but she might tell more." Sherlock looked worried after what Lestrade had said. If she wouldn't tell Lestrade, She was definatly not going to tell him."

They headed to St. Bartholomew's to see Sally. Sherlock walked into the room Sally shared with a woman called Yvonne who had just had surgery for breast cancer. As Sherlock entered the room, the woman called Yvonne said "Wait a minute, aren't you Sherlock Holmes?"

"Yes, I am, I'm here to see my friend and colleague, Sgt Sally Donovan."

"Oh, Right." Yvonne said quietly. Sherlock walked over to Sally's bed and sat down in a chair he recognised from Lestrade's office. Sherlock looked at Sally's chest and saw bandages poking out from under her loose t-shirt.

"How are you feeling?" Sherlock said to break the silence.

"Alright, got shot unbelievably close to my heart, without it getting injured."

"Lestrade, can you give me a notebook, I need to write some of the medical details down, I need them up on my wall of deduction. Anderson, Leave please, I'm trying to have a semi-private conversation with Sgt Donovan. Oh, and By the way, I Know."

Anderson promptly left the room for he feared that Sherlock would get him manhandled by Lestrade, Which would be utterly Humiliating.

Sherlock and Sally spoke for a long time, until visiting time was over. Sherlock promised to visit her the next day, however…
