I'll admit it was hard

To love you at first

to realise what I felt

Was true, and pure

To know that you always

Had really loved me

to know in your arms

I was loved, and secure

To find out we've loved

in a lifetime before

And to know that we'll love

in so many more

To sense that each day

Though you're not there at times,

I'm still completely yours

and you're still completely mine

But now that I've realised

How lucky I am

I'm grateful each hour

I'm your wife

And you're my man

And I know that they joke

The kids down the street

'Look at Piper, she's kissing!'

But that's alright with me

Because they'll grow up and find

Their only lover too

And they'll come back and visit

And I know I'll still be with you,

That's what they say,

That we'll always be together

And I know it's true

And it will be,

Forever.
