It was mid-morning, the sunlight peering through the crack in the curtains of the bedroom. Both lay on their stomachs, bodies close to each other as they slept. His arm draped over her bare back in a protective matter.

Yoshiki's eyes fluttered open, and he smiled softly at her sleeping form. Moving his arm to her shoulder, he leaned over and pecked her temple, causing her own eyes to flutter open. Their bareness didn't seem like much of a problem, not anymore at least.

"Good morning," He whispered to her, and she stretched her arms forward, peeking at him with one half-lidded eye. Her skin tingled when he started rubbing her back, a familiar heat coming back to her; reminding her of the previous night. She wouldn't mind repeating such acts. But her body was sore and tired, the bed very comfortable to her aching joints.

He knew they had to get up. As much as he wanted to stay in bed, they had to go on with the day. Rising up, his joints cracked, biting back a groan as his lower stomach and legs were sore.

She whimpered when he rose from the mattress. The warmth they were sharing was gone as the blanket was raised, cold air rushing underneath the covers. She shivered, wishing he hadn't done that. She didn't want to get out of bed yet.

He started dressing himself, slipping on discarded clothes on the floor. She turned her head to him, his back turned. Smirking, she noticed that his t-shirt was on the floor, close to the edge of the bed. Reaching down, she managed to grab the shirt in her fingers; she brought it back up and sat up quickly, slipping it over her head.

When he went to grab his shirt, he noticed it was gone. He looked up to her, seeing it on her body. His eyes narrowed, a glint in his eyes.

"Ayumi… please give me my shirt," He asked politely.

"No," She squeaked. His irritation was growing.

"Ayumi… please," He asked again, his tone stern.

"If you want it so bad, come get it off me," She refused to give up.

Letting out a sigh of frustration, he rose to his feet and climbed on the bed. He straddled her legs between his, trapping her underneath him.

"You're a prick sometimes, you know that?" She replied, her gaze narrowing as she let her arms fall above her.

"You're making it difficult," He remarked. He just wanted his damn shirt. Though, the idea of repeating the events from last night didn't sound too bad. Bring his hands to the hem of t-shirt, he started to pull it up.

Suddenly, she lunged up, wrapping her arms around his neck and came back down, bringing him with her. Their bodies were incredibly close again, the warmth that was taken away from her started to return.

"Ayumi… we have to get up…" He breathed, fighting back the heat rising in his lower abdomen.

"No we don't. We have no plans. Why can't we just sleep and cuddle?" She muttered back, her arms still tightly around his neck. He couldn't help but admit that she had a point. He was getting out of bed because it felt right, but why abandon the warmth they shared?

"Fine," He finally gave in, and she smiled. Taking one arm from his neck, she reached down and grabbed the blankets, pulling them up and over the both of them.

"But… maybe we don't have to just sleep and cuddle…" He smirked, leaning forward and pressing his lips firmly on hers. She welcomed the kiss whole heartedly.

Taking his shirt was the best idea ever.
