Ciel was having another nightmare a week prior to his last one. This one though was extremely bad, and something a child shouldn't have. He clutches his head really shaken, he's been laying there for a good twenty minutes. He reaches for his medicine for his asthma as he's having an asthma attack right now. He misses and falls to the ground hardly breathing. Sebastian hears the crash and sees Ciel struggling to his feet, Sebastian comes over and helps his master and lover off the ground. He holds Ciel close and gives him his medicine. After a few minutes of clutching to Sebastian he starts breathing normally.
"Are you alright?" asks Sebastian
"I'm fine now thank you." says Ciel
Sebastian can tell there's something else and reads it all over his face.
"What else is it, Ciel? It's written all over your face, that something else is bothering you." says Sebastian
"It's nothing.." says Ciel, looking away
"Young Master." says Sebastian
"What? If I say it's nothing,then it's nothing." says Ciel, stubbornly.
"Young Master" says Sebastian
"I had a nightmare again" mumbles Ciel
"Hmm?" asks Sebastian, even though he clearly heard them
"I had a bloody nightmare, happy?!" says Ciel, turning red
"This won't do at all. " says Sebastian, scooping up Ciel
"What are you doing?" asks Ciel
"Well I can't exactly leave you on your floor now can I?" says Sebastian
"Put me down! Put me down this instant! " says Ciel
"As you wish" says Sebastian
He climbs in bed and lays Ciel onto his lap, having Ciel turning beat red.
"What the hell are you doing, Sebastian?!" asks Ciel
"I'm trying to help you sleep with a new thing entirely." says Sebastian
"Exactly how?" asks Ciel, with a confused-doubtful look.
"Just trust me." says Sebastian
"Fine." says Ciel
Sebastian lays down happily and holds Ciel close. Ciel use to sleeping on his back finds this an odd position so switches to his side and finds himself snuggled into the demon's chest and he blinks as he hears a sound he's never heard before.
"What's wrong?" asks Sebastian
"Nothing. Just something I don't recognize." says Ciel, hoping Sebastian will drop it.
"It's my heartbeat,young master." says Sebastian
"Oh." says Ciel
"Yes, do you not like that sound?" asks Sebastian
"No," says Ciel
"Alright." says Sebastian
"You can leave if you like, this isn't an order. I can sleep by myself Sebastian.I'm not a little child" says Ciel, still denying he can't sleep.
"I'm fine right here. I know it's not an order to help you sleep. I want to help you sleep." says Sebastian
"Alright… Good Night." says Ciel
"Good night." says Sebastian
So Ciel closes his eyes and listens to his demon's heartbeat. The calming sound of Sebastian's heartbeat bringing him into a deep sleep. Sebastian smiles and soon joins Ciel into a deep sleep. There is no more nightmares that night, it's very peaceful that night. The two men,or boy in Ciel's case, sleep throughout the night. Ciel wakes first and turns red seeing that he's still on Sebastian's chest but he also doesn't want to leave his chest either, not that he'd openly admit that. He lays his head back down letting his hair flop down in his face and let the lullaby of a demon bring him back to sleep.
