"Sorry Severus but the task is urgent," said Albus stiffly.

"What happened?" asked Snape warily.

"Trouble with Harry," sighed Dumbledore. "He transfigured his cousin into a donkey and the rest bray due to the 'Voice of Burden' potion."

Snape's blank face contorted, bursting into laughter at the inspired vision.

Albus smiled. "Thought you could use the laugh," then speaking sternly, "please bring Harry here, now!"

Madam Pince hired Hermione as summer help. She was outside the headmaster office with books.

Snape departed the office smiling, nodding at her, "Miss Granger."

She grinned back, wishing he could do that more often.
