Wild Pirate Heart

Taunting, alluring words unspoken
Stolen glances, meant only for me
You promised your love to another
But he refuses to see what I see
Perhaps ye really love him
Enjoying that Im your fool
Your wild pirate heart pumps hot
Then suddenly so very, very cool
Commandeering you from him
A truly Machiavellian place to start
But if he loves you as I love you
It will devastate his landlubbing heart
Do you realize what youve done then?
Ironically the rival has become me best mate
And what if he were to challenge me
Tell me, vexing Lizzie, what would be our fate?
