Alice smirked ruefully as she sat at the dusty table with her prize. She'd been saving it for two days now. But before she could enjoy it, she reached into her pocket and withdrew a pack of cigarettes and a zippo lighter.

Flipping the pack open, her smile flickered for a split second as she stared at her last smoke, but then she raised the pack to her lips and plucked the smoke out before tossing the empty pack aside and lighting the cigarette. She took a drag, enjoying the moment before glancing at her prize resting before her and picking up her cupcake and impaling the cigarette into the top, making an improvised birthday candle.

Despite the crudeness, Alice couldn't help but smile at her efforts to celebrate her birthday despite all of the world being thrown into chaos from the outbreak of the T-Virus.

She was alone, in an abandoned house, with a half-assed attempt at a birthday, out of smokes, and above all...

"Fuck it." She muttered to herself, then held up her cupcake with the smoldering cigarette and started the age old tradition...

"Happy birthday to me... Happy birthday to me... Happy birthday, dear... Alice... Happy birthday to... you."
