"You're a prick, Teddy. You know that, right?" Teddy chuckled at the voice in his ear.
"What did I do this time?" Teddy turned around, grinning wickedly at Victoire. Her mouth was pulling down, desperately trying to frown, but her eyes gave away her real feelings.
"Oh, you know exactly what you did," she narrowed her eyes.
"I do many things," the sixth year boy winked at her and her face turned a shade of red only a Weasley could accomplish. It took a second for Victoire to compose herself.
"How did you manage to sneak into the Ravenclaw girl's dormitory and put that dead fish in Lilia's trunk?" Victoire lowered her voice. "Everyone thinks I did it, Teddy. This is serious." She stared at him intently for a second and then giggled. "Where did you even manage to get a fish, let alone sneak into the girl's dormitory in a house you don't even belong to?" Teddy mockingly looked around, copying Victoires previous actions and then leaned in so that she could feel his breath on her ear. She felt herself blush.
"A magician never reveals his secrets," Teddy whispered and then leaned back to witness Victoire's face. He began to laugh. Victoire was not amused.
"You are such an arse, Teddy Lupin," she hissed before turning around and marching away. Teddy rolled his eyes and began to walk towards class although he still had a good ten minutes before potions started.
Victoire couldn't help herself, she turned back towards Teddy and hurried to catch up with him. He greeted her with a raise of his left eyebrow.
"So why did you do it, then?" She huffed. He stopped walking and looked at her for a moment. He opened his mouth, then shook his head and closed it. He took her gently by the hand and led her to the side of the castle.
"No one ever calls you or Bill an animal, let alone a monster. Your dad is not a monster, he is a perfectly wonderful man. Whoever thinks that just 'cause he was attacked by a werewolf, he's suddenly a threat, well they can go to hell." He hissed. "Lilia had what was coming to her the moment she called you an," Teddy cleared his throat and imitated the whiny voice of Lilia Mathews, "'evil bitch, literally.'" Victiore nodded. She had known Teddy's motives, but she wasn't done with him yet.
"You didn't just to it because of me, did you Teddy?" Teddy looked away suddenly embarrassed. "Teddy, it's alright." She waited for Teddy to look and her and then said: "You did it because of your dad, didn't you?" Teddy slowly nodded, letting the truth make itself known.
"Yeah, I guess," he cleared his throat and a mischievous smile graced his face again. "But mostly because I enjoy making that arsehole's knickers smell like dead fish." Victiore pushed him and laughed.
"You are completely disgusting."
"Yeah, but you know you love it," Teddy leaned in closer.
"Shut up, you tosser." Victiore grinned and pulled Teddy's tie towards her. "Now shut up and kiss me before we're late to class."
Teddy happily obliged.
