A Vow Of Silence

Day of Silence is a real thing as BaybieBlue (Me) will be taking part in this, it's to stand up for bullying of Lesbians, Gay, Straight (I think) Transgender (I think that's all of them) But anyways, Emily takes part in the day of silence and the rangers started to notice her odd behavior.

Emily hasn't talked all day. No one can figure out why.

"Hey Em, want to train." I asked. She had a cold expression on her face.

She shook her head and ran off to her room.

I sighed.

"Why is she silent!" I asked myself.

"I know, it's freaking me out too." Mia said entering the kitchen.

"Us too." Kevin and Mike said.

"But….why?" I asked.

"We don't know. Only Emily seems to know. Wish she would tell us what was bothering her." Kevin said.

"I hate when she closes up. She doesn't let anyone in and she is silent! Something is bothering her" I said.

I hear silent tears.

That's when a poster slid in under the door.

Day Of Silence:

April 11th 2014

What will YOU do to end the silence?

Think about the voices you aren't hearing today.

Emily.

I decided to confront her tomorrow, because she locked herself in her room.

When she woke up the next day, She was talking.

"Emily, why did you do the day of silence yesterday?" I asked.

"To stand up for people who are Transgender, Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual….Actually, anyone who is bullied. I know what it feels like to be bullied, but imagine being bullied for loving someone. That's why. It's too let kids who are bullied know. Kids who are Lesbian, Transgender, Bisexual, Gay. Does it really matter?" She asked.

"No. Everyone's the same." I said to her.

And the next year, all of us participated in Day Of Silence.

So I participated in the day of silence, and I got to say, I feel for people who are silence by being bullied for being you. Imagine being bullied and not saying anything (I was, I know how it hurts. I hope you participate next year if you can. It's an amazing expirence and all you have to do is be quiet.

(Just for your information, I am accepting of all people, no matter what race, religion, ethnicity, skin color, age, etc.)

Also, a new story will come out eventually. I just moved so I am still unpacking and stuff. Just bare with me, it's hard for me too, I really want to write, which I did, but I mean more than a one shot. So yeah, hope you enjoyed!
