"I wish they'd tell us something already! I mean how long is this surgery going take?" Abby cried as she paced the floor of the waiting room.
"Abbs calm down these things take time." Gibbs said trying to calm her.
"And just think if it weren't for him Anthony would the one in surgery right now." Ducky added.
"Oh I know it's just he is so special to me and I can't stand the thought of losing him!" Abby cried.
"I know Abbs" Gibbs assured.
"Th…this is all my fault! If it weren't for me he'd be Ok!" Tony cried.
"I just took him for granted so much! He was one of the few who liked me when I started!" Ziva wailed.
Suddenly the operating room doors opened and the doctor came out.
"How'd it go?" Abby asked.
"I'm sorry I was unable to save the patient. You can take some time to say goodbye." The doctor answered.
"No…no" Abby whispered as she fell into Gibbs's arms.
Gibbs held Abby who was crying by now in his arms.
"Oh dear I can say his presence will be missed greatly around here." Ducky said.
"Oh Abby I am so sorry we will all miss him." Ziva said solemnly.
"It's all my fault he's dead!" Tony cried.
"I know this hard Abbs but if I hadn't put Bert down when DiNozzo fainted his kid would have to grow up without a father or with a brain damaged one." McGee said entering with their six month old son in his arms.
"What exactly happened?" Jimmy asked.
"Ziva told Tony she was pregnant and he fainted his head was this close to hitting his desk hard right on the edge it would have been real ugly luckily McGee reacted quickly and set Bert on the desk so Tony hit him instead of the desk and the jolt only brought him back to reality instead if breaking his head." Gibbs explained.
"Oh that explains why the whoopee cushion was crushed unfortunately beyond repair." Jimmy explained.
"Come on babe let's go cleanout the extra bedroom while you can still move DiNozzo babies are huge." Tony said.
"Yeah let's go I'm crying about a stuffed hippo I think the emotions are kicking in already. Also I want to discuss the extra-large baby thing." Ziva replied as her husband wrapped his arm around her.
"Hey Abbs let's get out of here I think it's gonna start snowing soon and I heard it may turn into a blizzard." McGee said handing the baby over to Abby.
"OK let's get home." Abby replied.
"You all call me when you get home so I know you're OK!" Gibbs called to his agents before he left.
Abby ran back in "Oh Jimmy I'm so sorry I forgot to thank you for operating on Bert!" She cried before leaving again.
"You're welcome now if you'll excuse me I have to go home and explain to my eight months pregnant wife that I was two hours late with an impeding blizzard and her alone with a sick and cranky two year old because I was preforming surgery on a stuffed hippo." Jimmy replied as he switched off the lights and left the room off of autopsy.
